Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3
The Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work course is designed to teach you the skills required to comfortably and effectively offer CPR and First Aid in a real-life scenario. This is not just a workplace course, this course can be attended by anybody who wishes to learn the skills of First Aid. It is a legal requirement for all companies in the UK to have at least one appointed Emergency First Aider in the workplace, as stated by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).

The Emergency First Aid at Work course is a one-day course designed for those who are looking to be a First Aider within a low-risk environment such as office workers. If you complete the Emergency First Aid at Work course with Staffordshire First Aid Training then you can rest assured that the training and certification will comply with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 - Certifications will be valid for three years upon completion.

Suitability - Who should attend?
Being our most popular and most common workplace First Aid course, the Emergency First Aid at Work is perfect for anybody who is looking to be a First Aider in their low-risk workplace. Rest assured that upon completion of this course, you will be compliant with all Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
If you are in a high-risk working environment such as construction, we would recommend attending a Level 3 First Aid at Work course which is a 3-day course and is more in-depth in comparison to the Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work.
Outcome / Qualification etc.
In order to complete this course, there will be a range of methods used to demonstrate your knowledge after being taught throughout the First Aid course, this includes practical real-life scenario examples and questioning. The final examination will be multiple choice and open questions. Upon successful completion of this course, each delegate will have the knowledge, confidence, and certification to be a responsible First Aider in their workplace.
Your First Aid certificate will expire three years after the date of completion. However, for this course, annual refresher training is strongly recommended by the HSE each year between the three years.
