Suitability - Who should attend?
CELTA is open to native and non-native speakers of English, but the course requires a good level of analytical awareness of the language as well as a high level of written and spoken English. Non-native speakers should normally already have the Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) qualification or equivalent. This course is for students 20 years old and over. You need to have two A-levels or a degree (or equivalent). If you have recent experience of learning a second or additional language this might be an advantage.
