Course description
Introduction
A follow on course in the use of digital SLR cameras and to use their features to assist in the creation in professional quality photography.
By the end of the course you will be able to: Identify and explain the use of your camera's features. Use all of your camera's exposure controls to produce well exposed photographs. Use a variety of lighting techniques for portraiture and still life. Understand how useful Adobe Photoshop (digital imaging software) is to a photographer. Photograph complicated topics using bracketed exposure and lighting techniques. Use Adobe Photoshop to combine bracketed exposure shots. Prepare files for print, desktop publishing and websites.
Assessment
Group and one to one tuition. Constructive advice and problem solving of students' own work.

Expenses
No formal qualifications are required. Students are required to have basic computer skills. An informal discussion of students existing photographic and computer related skills is held in the first lesson. This helps the tutor to meet individual students' educational needs during the course.
