Course description
Media BTEC Level 1: Learn about creative media, the industry and delivering a quality media product. Try out different areas such as digital photography, digital graphics & photo-manipulation, 2D animation, as well as TV and video production. You may also go on trips to the National Science & Media Museum to see creative media in action and listen to talks from professionals. You also gain personal & social development skills which help you with your studies and finding a job. You can also gain important Functional Skills qualifications in maths, English and ICT. As part of the Foundation Learning offer, this course gives you an introduction to lots of other subject options as well as Media.

Suitability - Who should attend?
� 2 GCSEs at grade 2 (E) or above in both English & maths.� We will do an assessment to find out which course level is right for you.� A positive attitude and a keen interest in media.� You will also come to an introductory �taster� session before the course starts, to see if it is the right course for you.
