Course description
Lead Adult Care Worker Level 3 Apprenticeship: You will care for individuals with specific needs including disabled or elderly people, or those with learning disabilities. You will help plan support needs to enable them to live fulfilling lives. This care can include helping a person to get dressed or assisting them with their shopping. This course prepares you for role as a senior support worker or senior care assistant. You will need to complete the Care Certificate, a Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care and a self-reflection task in your lastmonth. You will also need to pass the End Point Assessment and a multiple choice test.

Suitability - Who should attend?
� You must be 18 years or over.� An apprenticeship vacancy in a Health & Social Care setting for a minimum of 30 hours a week (this will include one day in College per week).� A minimum of 1 year�s relevant industry experience and/or a Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care.� You must pass an initial assessment in English & maths.� You will have an interview.� A clear Disclosure and Barring Service DBS check at the start of the course.
