Health & Social Care BTEC Level 2: This course is a great starting point if you would like to become a health or social worker, as you develop the personal skills and qualities you need. Topics include human lifespan development, health & social care values, promoting health & wellbeing, the impact of nutrition on health & wellbeing, equality & diversity in health & social care, individual rights inhealth & social care, human body systems & care of disorders, and services in health & social care. There are two externally set assessments which you will take in January or May. You will also have the opportunity to study GCSE maths and English. You may be required to attend a work

Suitability - Who should attend?
� 2 GCSEs at grade 3 (D) or above, including English.orA full Level 1 at Pass grade, plus a GCSE grade 3 (D) or above in English.� A positive attitude and a keen interest in caring for others.� You will have an interview and further assessment to check the course is right for you.
