Care Planning Principles Level 2 Certificate: These distance learning courses start on a regular basis and will enhance the knowledge of anyone working in Health & Social Care, improving their practice and also counting towards their Continuing Professional Development (CPD).You must be 18 or over to enrol. These courses require a good level of English and you will take an assessment held at Shipley College to confirm your place. These courses are delivered via distance learning and take up to 14 weeks to complete. To succeed on a distance learning course, you must be motivated to meet deadlines and produce detailed quality work without supervision.Normally, the fees are �300, but a 100% fee reduction may apply to you if you are in receipt of benefits and actively seeking employment or employed and on a low income.All distance learning courses start on the following dates: 04/09/19, 03/10/19, 04/11/19, 07/01/20, 05/02/20, 05/03/20, 30/03/20, 05/05/20, 10/06/20 and 02/07/20.Develop your knowledge and understanding of the principles and processes of person-centred thinking, planning and review. You learn how to work with people to carry out activities specified in their care or support plan, including person-centred assessment, planning, implementation and review; the promotion of health & well-being through nutrition and hydration; supporting people with personal hygiene to manage their continence and the use of continence equipment, and supporting people with sleep.
