AAT Professional Diploma in Accounting Level 4: The professional diploma is ideal if you�ve completed the advanced accounting qualification and would like to build your skills or you�re already working in finance and you�d like formal recognition of your skills in order to go on to be an AAT full member or study for chartered status.On this well respected course, you study five units (three compulsory and two optional ones) which include Financial Statements of Limited Companies, Management Accounting, Budgeting & Management Accounting and Decision & Control. You will gain skills in drafting and interpreting limited company financial statements, preparing forecasts of income & expenditure, preparing draft budgets & revising them as required by the business, managing budgets & reporting variances back to the business and reviewing the finance function to identify risk and make recommendations for will need to successfully complete unit assessments in all five units and successfully complete one synoptic assessment to achieve this qualification. The synoptic assessments cover all of the topics in the three compulsory units as well as Accounting Systems and Controls.
