Course description
AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting Level 3 (Daytime & Evening): This diploma is ideal if you have completed the foundation qualification and would like to build your skills or if you are already working in finance and would like formal recognition of your skills. It is also suitable if you would like to go on to be an AAT full member (MAAT) or study for chartered study six units, which include Advanced Bookkeeping, Final Accounts Preparation, Management Accounting: Costing, Indirect Tax, Ethics for Accountants and Spreadsheets for Accounting. You will gain skills in making provisions for doubtful or irrecoverable debts, reconciling ledgers with the cash book, the importance of professional ethics in the working environment, analysing variances and use of spreadsheets to manage information in the accounting achieve this qualification, you will need to successfully complete four unit assessments and one synoptic assessment. The synoptic assessment will cover all of the six units. All assessments are set and marked by the AAT and are computer-based. To start on Level 3 you must have successfully completed Level 2 or have significant experience of manual double-entry bookkeeping techniques.Admission is by a short, informal interview - please phone to register your interest.
