IBT Level 4 Diploma in Information Technology
The Level 4 Diploma in Information Technology is awarded by IBT Qualifications. IBT Qualifications Diploma in Information Technology (Level-4) is a practical, work-related course. Candidates learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. Suitability - Who should attend?
- Learners aged 17 years and over and
- A level 2 qualification in IT or a related vocational area or
- A standard of literacy and numeracy supported by a general education equivalent to four GCSEs at grade A*-C or
- Other related level 3 qualifications or related work experience
- International students whose first language is not in English, they will need to have a score of 5.5 or above in IELTS Examination or equivalent. Students can alternatively take an English test conducted by IBT Qualifications’ approved centres.

Training Course Content
Unit1- Introduction to Information Technology
This unit aims to help the learners to understand the basics of the Information technology.
Unit2- System Analysis and Design
This unit deals with the concepts,methodologies, skills, techniques, tools of system analysis and design.
Unit3- IT skills
This unit helps to learn about the website development, technical communication, software designing, web graphics and data base foundations.
Unit4- Introduction to Website Development
Introduction to website development is the unit that helps the learner to understand what are the initial processes to be done in the website development.
Unit5- Study Skills and Communication skills
In this unit the learner will study about the time management , reading and writing methods, memorization skills, note taking,test taking and communication skills. It will also help the learner to develop their interpersonnel skills and build rapport in the workplace. It also helps to improve the interaction skills of an individual.
Unit6- Managing Business Information.
It helps to study about the relationship between the people and technology in an organistional environment. This unit aims to help the learner to identify key points and risk in information systems.
