Course description
This course is aimed at enthusiastic learners who are looking for a career in the Motor Sport, Performance Road Car or Motor Vehicle industry. Further opportunities exist to progress onwards to higher education. The programme is a blend of practical work and theory. Students are always encouraged to get involved with the college's motor vehicle projects.
The course is primarily assessed through assignments spread over the course of the year. Some practical assessments will be integrated where possible. Three weeks are set aside purely for the purpose of enrichment. In addition to this, trips related to the core programme may be organised to places such as Santa Pod Raceway and Autosport International. There is usually no or minimal cost for any of these activities. On completion of this course successful learners may choose to seek employment in the Motorsport and Automotive industry, or to progress to a university course.
