Course description
Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip) in Risk and Safety Management: customisable in-house risk & safety management programme
Delivered as a face-to-face, distance learning or blended learning solution, Risktec's Postgraduate Diploma in Risk and Safety Management gives corporate clients the opportunity to equip their risk and safety practitioners with the practical skills they need to excel in their professional roles.
The second stage of Risktec's postgraduate study programme - which begins with a Postgraduate Certificate and ends with an MSc - the PgDip requires the completion of 12 modules over a period of 2 years (or less, depending on client requirements). Clients can either choose the standard PGDip programme or tailor the syllabus by choosing from the range of accredited modules developed by Risktec in collaboration with Liverpool John Moores University. These cover a range of specific topics related to Risk Assessment, Management Systems, Leadership, Research & Reporting and Software, but also include a number of sector-specific modules designed for the Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Marine, Rail and Renewables sectors.
Whatever the combination of modules chosen, the course will be delivered by experienced teachers with extensive industry experience, who will provide your staff with the practical insights and expertise needed to tackle real-world risk management problems confidently and effectively.
