Course description
Paediatric First Aid Training: This is a full level 3 Paeditric First Aid certificate valid for three years. This qualification will provide you with the first aid skills recommended for someone working with children and it is a requirement of Ofsted for new staff working in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
The course is divided into two parts: 6 hours online followed by 6 hours in the classroom. The online part must be completed prior to attending the classroom session. You will have approximately five weeks to do this and will receive an email with your log in details when the time comes to start. The on line part cannot be completed earlier than this. . From 3 April 2017 all newly qualified entrants to the early years workforce with a level 2 or 3 qualification must also have either a full or emergency PFA certificate within 3 months of starting work In order to be counted in ratios.

Suitability - Who should attend?
Once you have enrolled on the college website for the classroom based session, you should email so that you can be set up on the online course. You will receive an email from Pro-Training with your log in details.
