What will I learn?
This is a workshop based classed designed for intermediate and advanced writers to develop scripts for radio, TV, film and stage. What will you need for your first session: A pen/ pencil and notepad or a laptop Overall course aims & objectives: * Generate ideas for scripts * Discuss techniques, content and structure * Develop characters * Produce scripts using a variety of methods and mediums On this course you will develop the following introductory skills and knowledge: * Character building * Story and plot * Dialogue and subtext * Tension and conflict * Scenes and structure * Revision and editing Assessment (homework, online tests and/or examinations): Methods: interactive lectures, in-class and at-home assignments and writing exercises, peer and tutor feedback and discussion
