Course description

Are you interested in controlling the power dynamics of your workplace? Are you constantly worried about not being in charge? Do you want to understand power and influence in an organizational setting? Success in the workplace requires the capacity to exercise authority successfully. Indeed, toxic organizational politics can ruin individual careers and whole organizations. This is especially the case as organizational politics, power, and influence are prevalent and persistent in the workplace. This course teaches individuals how to deal with these issues to be effective leaders, managers, and individuals in their own right. This Rcademy course is designed to help participants better understand the multifaceted strategic, organizational, and interpersonal dynamics of power, politics, and influence they will encounter within their professional lives.

The goal of The Managing Organisation Politics and Power Dynamics by Rcademy is to assist the attendees inbuilding and enhancing their communication, analysis, and presenting abilities to navigate the murky seas of organizational power and politics. Nature of organizational politics; formal and informal authority in organizations; sources of personal power and influence; tactics for exerting power and influence, as well as cultural influences; the politics of change management; gender politics in organizational contexts, as well as power dyads, are all covered in this course’s syllabus.
