Training Course Content
The IOSH Safety, Health and Environment for Construction Site Workers covers:
- Understanding the importance of working safely on a construction site.
- Identifying everyone’s responsibilities in relation to health, safety and wellbeing on a construction site.
- Understanding the basics of health, safety and environmental law and the key legal requirements for construction sites.
- Identifying construction site hazards and risks, their impact and how to control them.
- Understanding site environmental management, including management of waste and ecology.
- Understanding how to manage high-risk activities safely.
- Identifying any dangers to the health of construction site workers and how to mitigate them.
The CITB Operatives test:
