Course description
Global Submissions for Agrochemicals
All countries have their own regulatory processes for the authorisation of agrochemicals, and companies must develop individual data packages for each to gain regulatory approval for each crop/pest combination and distribute in their region. This has made it difficult for regulators to cooperate when companies are applying for in multiple countries and has ultimately contributed to low application rates and environmental complications. The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) has offered a solution to this through developing the tools for a single global data package which can be used for submissions in multiple countries, with the aim of attaining a harmonised approach in the regulation of agrochemicals inalmost 200 countries.
Save time, money and minimise risk to the environment, human and animal health by exploring the harmonised approach of the OECD on this interactive online academy. Over 4 weeks you will tackle the regulatory complications for agricultural submissions by analysing the mechanisms of the single global data packed created by the OECD.
