Time Management Skills Training
This course is designed for all those wishing to boost their productivity, despite competing priorities and ever-increasing workloads.
The half-day course provides tools for putting in place a system for prioritising your work, dealing with external and self-inflicted “time robbers”, learning how and when to say “no”, as well as mastering the art of delegation. It also addresses tried-and-tested approaches for optimising your productivity such as the Batching Method and the Pomodoro Technique.
It is an ideal format where multiple employees are required to receive training.

- Why do we need Time Management? A review of the many benefits an organised approach to time management can bring to our working lives.
- The Significance of Left Brain / Right Brain: Short Quiz to recognize which applies to us, how this impacts on our ability to process tasks and what to do about it.
- What are your Time Robbers? An activity that encourages participants to work together to identify what prevents them making the best use of their time.
- Goal Setting: How to set SMART goals to ensure we stay on track.
- Principles and Tools of Time Management including the Prioritisation Grid (to ensure we focus on the right tasks), the Batching Method and the Pomodoro Technique for boosting our productivity.
- Planning and Scheduling: Includes creating a Weekly Planner (a template will be provided.)
- Setting Boundaries and Learning to say No: how to adopt an effective approach.
- Delegation Skills: A review of the factors that prevent us from delegating and how to put in place a structure for effective delegation.
- Organising Your Workspace: How to create “zones” and de-clutter
