Course description
The Rural Pathway study programmes range from Entry level 1 to Entry level 3 and between one to three years, depending on your needs. If you're interested in developing your personal, social, academic and employability skills as well as English and mathematics, then our entry level Rural Pathway programme is ideal for you. You will work towards a number of units which include exploring art, developing ICT skills, keeping safe, developing self-awareness and communication. You will also get to develop practical skills through vocational tasters and go on visits and outings. Work experience is also a big part of your course, helping to build on your interests, experience and confidence, as well provide opportunities to engage in real life practical work related activities. Upon successful of the Rural Pathway Entry level 3 study programme, you will be able to progress onto a Level 1 vocational study programme or the Supported Internship programme, if you meet the minimum entry requirements including English and mathematics.

Entry Level 1 – Recognised and accredited prior learning and an online Initial skills assessment in English and mathematics working toward Entry 1.Entry Level 2 – Successful completion of Entry 1 Rural Pathways or recognised and accredited prior learning including an award or functional skill in English or mathematics at Entry level 1 or above or an online initial skills assessment in English and mathematics working toward Entry level 2.Entry Level 3 – Successful completion of the Entry 2 Rural Pathways or recognised and accredited prior learning including entry level functional skills in English and mathematics at a minimum Entry level 2.
