Course description
One of the keys to influencing and motivating staff and colleagues is learning to let go and trusting others. To achieve this we must gain a balance between effectively communicating and delegating, whilst coaching to enhance competence and confidence, enabling them to performance and deliver. The module provides an opportunity to reflect a range of performance management tools and techniques, plan and implement the delegation of a task and practice coaching skills.

Suitability - Who should attend?
This Module is aimed at those who directly manage staff and conduct performance reviews. Developing the competence and confidence to effectively empower others to perform is the greatest challenge of any manager. Learning to let go and trust, without micro managing requires a combination of communicating with clarity, providing the right level of support and holding people accountable.
Outcome / Qualification etc.
- Implement a range of performance management tools and techniques to be able to set, measure, monitor and enhance performance.
- Implement a five-step delegation technique to gain willing cooperation from staff and colleagues.
- Practice basic coaching skills to communicate effectively and enhance performance of team members and colleagues.
Course delivery details
This programme is delivered through a blended learning approach consisting of two half-day Zoom/Microsoft Teams Seminars, 9.15am - 12.30pm. Additional e-coaching is provided between seminars with individual delegates to encourage application of the models, tools and techniques back in the work environment. Alternatively, the Module can be delivered in a full day (9.15 to 16.30).

Expenses
Total investment for this two half day Module is £280 per person. Alternatively, this Module can be delivered internally to your organisation for a total investment of £2100. Based on a group size of ten persons, this reflects an investment of £ 210 per person. This cost includes all relevant materials but excludes any costs associated with the venue.
