Course description
Childminders offer professional childcare within a home setting, normally their own. They provide play-based activities that should encourage a child’s learning and development. This NCFE CACHE Level 3 Award in Home Based Childcare - Childminder Route qualification prepares learners to work in a home-based childcare setting as a registered childminder. The course has been developed in collaboration with PACEY (Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years). You’ll learn how to create a safe and healthy childcare environment, support the safeguarding and welfare of children in your care and manage a home-based childcare setting.
