Course description
Ear candling is the practice of placing a lit, cone-shaped candle into the ear. In theory, as the candle burns, the ear candle will create a low-level suction which pulls the warmed earwax into the hollow candle and away from the ear. It can also soften the wax, meaning it will then fall out in the following few days. This course is ideal for beginners or existing beauty therapists who want to expand on the services they can offer. During the course, you will explore how to keep your workplace safe and hygienic, making it safe to offer the treatment to your clients safely and effectively. You will also learn how to perform the ear candling procedure, what tools and equipment you’ll need to do so, and any aftercare advice you can offer your clients. We do not supply a kit with this course; however, you can acquire a set of 10 ear candles can cost around £10.
