- Diagnosis and investigations in primary care
- Long term effects of B12 deficiency
- Understanding pernicious anaemia
- Therapeutic management
- Legalities of the B12 administration-accountability and responsibility
- The administration consultation, including ascertaining informed consent
- Make appropriate records and refer to other health professionals where necessary
- Safety issues for administering intramuscular injections
- Practical session for intra muscular injections (if required)
