NCFE CACHE Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
What does the qualification cover?
This qualification will provide an understanding of the knowledge and skills needed when working directly with children or young people in primary, secondary or special schools. It includes learning about children and young people’s development, safeguarding their welfare and communication.
Who are they suitable for?
The Award is suitable for those not yet working in a Level 3 school role but could achieve at this Level. It is also suitable as initial training.
What are the entry requirements?
You should be at least 16 years old.
How many credits are required to complete it?
The Award requires 12 credits.
How is it assessed?
The Award will be assessed by your Tutor or Assessor using a range of methods. This could include direct observation in the workplace, a portfolio of evidence, written assignments or a task.
Do you need to be working to take the qualification?
Learners completing the Award do not need to be working.
How long will it take to complete?
You can usually complete the Award in a year.
