CITB Health and Safety Awareness
This course highlights potential hazards when working on-site and provides practical advice on keeping yourself and your colleagues safe.
It covers your individual and employers responsibilities, including what you can do if you think anyones health and safety is being put at risk.

Suitability - Who should attend?
Entry Requirements
All students need to bring a form of photographic evidence of their identity and their National Insurance number.
You must also provide two current passport sized photographs.
Outcome / Qualification etc.
At the end of the course you will have an understanding of:
- The need to prevent accidents.
- Health and safety law.
- How their role fits into the control and management of the site.
- Risk assessments and method statements.
- Performing safely and asking advice if not sure.
- How to report unsafe acts to prevent an accident.
It is also the first step towards a CSCS Labourers Card (Green Card).
Expenses
Please note, this course is a full cost course and therefore there is no fee remission available to any student.
