Course description
Health, Social Care and Children's and Young People's Services CACHE Diploma - Level 1:
This course is an ideal first step if you want a career working with children. Areas studied include: Child development; Understanding play; Health and nutrition; Career development. You will be assessed on internal coursework. After completion of this course, you can progress on to a Level 2 course or find work or an apprenticeship. South Thames College offers a full range of childcare qualifications so there is plenty of opportunity for progression.

Suitability - Who should attend?
Students need to have three GCSEs 3-1 in relevant subjects or other related qualifications and experience.
