Course description
This online training course provides an introduction to blockchain technology. You will learn what blockchain is, how it was originally created for the Bitcoin cryptocurrency, and some of the cryptographic techniques that underpin its unique capabilities. We will see how the technology can be adapted for business use and deployed in energy markets. You will learn about some early blockchain projects in energy markets, explore blockchain’s future potential and consider possible barriers to deployment of blockchain.
