Are you a non-medical prescriber? Are you about to become a non-medical prescriber? Take the opportunity to get some key clinical skills to equip you in your NMP role. Be able to identify key red flags outside your scope of practice. Know when to refer on.
We aim to prepare you for effective clinical consultation, assessment and diagnosis through a combination of distance learning and interactive study days. This will include critical reading of key papers, analysis of case studies, reflective learning through construction of a portfolio of activities to include critical evaluation of patient interactions.
This new 20 credit module is part of the Medway School of Pharmacy (MSoP) suite of short courses and can be taken either before the independent/supplementary prescribing programme or on completion of the IP qualification. It is open to pharmacists, nurses, paramedics, dietitians, radiographers and physiotherapists. Take the opportunity to access the content of the clinically enhanced module that we have available for hospital, mental health and community trust pharmacists on the Clinically Enhanced Prescribing programme.
