Course description
Given the huge amount of money at stake in sport disputes and conflicts, it’s only natural that individuals, governing bodies and other sporting organisations are adopting alternative dispute resolution methods. Such ADR resolution methods can allow for greater flexibility than court litigation and can also allow international disputes to be resolved through a single, uniform procedure.
Neeraj Thomas presents this succinct and informative webinar which will provide a summary of what ADR is, why it is used in sports and how it is currently being implemented. This will include an overview of the different options available through ADR, the role of internal disciplinary processes in ADR, and more.
