Course description

As another year of mayhem closes, this one is proving to be even more challenging than most. And the icing on the cake? The SRA have been investigating all firms on their radar, looking for loopholes.

So, what can we expect from their visits? This virtual classroom seminar, presented by Trevor Hellawell, will explain it all. Important topics such as AML steps, sanctions, the register of overseas entities, SLAPP litigation arguments, and research into the unregulated sector will be covered. The future of SIF will be discussed, as well as topics to be aware of in 2023.

Before going freelance in 1999, Trevor was a full-time lecturer with the University of Law, and until recently, he was Head of Law Programmes at BPP. Be sure to tune in to benefit from his wealth of knowledge in this area.
