Part of the session will examine some of the trickier aspects of sponsorship, particularly where selecting the SOC Code or determining the minimum salary required may not be straightforward.

Where serious non-compliance is found, the Home Office can downgrade, suspend or revoke an organisation’s sponsor licence. In addition, civil penalties for illegal working have now risen to £60,000 per illegal worker.
