This virtual classroom seminar aimed at housing lawyers and advisers will provide an update on the key developments in social housing over the last 12 months.


Presented by Tina Conlan, this live update will cover the Social Housing (Regulation) Act 2023, the Renters’ Rights Bill, and Equality Act 2010 caselaw developments.


Tina will also provide a Court of Appeal caselaw update, including a look at Swindon BC v Abrook, Birmingham City Council v Bravington, and Waltham Forest LBC v Hussain.

    • Waltham Forest LBC v Hussain [2023] EWCA Civ 733 (meaning of ‘fit and property person’ to hold licence under Housing Act 2004, Parts 2 & 3 and nature of appeal to FTT)
