This invaluable 30 minute guide is aimed at those who are new to providing legal advice to suspects at the police station stage of proceedings. It will concentrate on the pre-interview consultation, the interview itself and the post-interview consultation.


The webinar is presented by Colin Beaumont, a hugely popular speaker who has been presenting courses on a wide range of criminal law topics for many years. Topics discussed will include setting the scene with the client and telling them who you are, disclosing to the client everything you know about the matter, taking the client’s instructions and ensuring that those instructions make sense, informing the client of the 3 options available at this stage, advising and assisting the client during the interview itself, and the post-interview consultation (options available to the police and the future).
