This webinar will explain mitigation in anti-doping proceedings, focussing on three main areas: whether actions were intentional, whether an athlete bears no significant fault or negligence, and whether an athlete bears no fault or negligence
Presented by Max Shephard of 4-5 Gray’s Inn Square, this webinar aims to provide a user-friendly overview of the most recent anti-doping cases and what these three areas of mitigation really mean.
Max accepts instructions in all areas of sports law and has been instructed by national and international federations, clubs, and players. He advises on first instance and appeal cases as well as appeals to the Court of Arbitration of Sport. Max is the Chairman of the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation Anti-Doping Committee.
