This virtual classroom seminar will consider recent caselaw relevant to the pursuit of cross border personal injury claims.
The session will explore the practical steps required to bring a claim in England or Wales following an incident abroad.
It will also focus on the various mechanisms of CPR Part 6 that allow the English Courts’ jurisdiction to be argued, the ‘tort gateway’ and the other factors of importance once the English Courts’ jurisdiction has been established, including forum non conveniens arguments and the enforcement of judgments.
