This virtual classroom seminar is suitable for those who act for landowners, crofters and developers looking to utilise croft land in connection with renewable energy projects.


The session will provide you with knowledge and practical examples of how renewable development can take place on croft land and the legal tests and processes that are required to be met before development can take place.


Join expert speaker Stephanie Hepburn as she discusses current crofting legislation and the provisions relevant to renewable development, plus the difference between crofts and common grazings. Methods by which renewable development may take place on croft land will be explored, including de-crofting, resumption, development schemes and more.
