There will be emphasis on practical issues that may arise in the drafting process, from an experienced practitioner.

- Distance contracts - what are the information requirements of the Consumer Contracts (Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and how should a trader comply with them?
- What cancellation rights does the consumer have and how should a trader comply with its obligations?
- Unfair contract terms - what are the key provisions of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and what are the risks for traders?
- Examples of common clauses that might be considered unfair, and how to draft so as to avoid such a challenge
- The future - is the position likely to change as a result of the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024?
