The Financial Ombudsman Service (‘FOS’) has been in existence for about 20 years and over recent years, it has been subjected to some strong public criticism. Consequently, it is going through significant organisational change and the scope of its work has also increased.


That will have real consequences for those involved in bringing or defending complaints to the FOS now and in the future.


This in-person course aims to provide a comprehensive and up-to-date approach on how best to improve your chances of achieving a positive outcome in your dealings with the FOS. It will explore the complaints process from start to finish, how the FOS and the FCA interact, how the FOS fits into the wider regulatory picture and related regulatory implications, and more.
