Entry Requirements
There are no mandatory qualification entry requirements for this qualification; however, learners should note that this is a professional-level course. Completing the course is a substantial undertaking, and NEBOSH strongly recommends that learners have a suitable standard of English to understand and articulate the concepts presented in the syllabus.
Recommended Prior Learning
Depending on their health and safety management experience, learners may find it beneficial to complete the NEBOSH National General Certificate before undertaking the Diploma course.
Outcome / Qualification etc.
The total assessment time for all 3 units of the NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management is 80 hours. Learners must complete and pass all 3 units to achieve certification. Upon successful completion, delegates will receive the NEBOSH National Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Management and will be entitled to use the designatory letters DipNEBOSH after their name.
Graduation Ceremony
NEBOSH diploma holders are invited to the annual NEBOSH graduation ceremony in the year following their successful completion of the award.
