Course description
Effective communication skills are essential for every employee, especially managers who need strong communication skills in order to lead people.
If you’re looking to improve your communication skills in order to build your confidence and enhance your ability to instruct, motivate and develop better relationships with colleagues, this 1-day course is for you.
It will teach you a range of tools and techniques that you can use in the workplace to develop your communication and the way you interact and work with others.
On this Effective Communication Skills you will, through theory and a series of practical exercises, learn how you can improve your communication skills using different tools and techniques.
Gain knowledge about your own, and others behavioural styles, how these can influence communication as well as other barriers to communication.
You will learn techniques to improve communication such as questioning, active listening and assertiveness skills and be able to take these away and implement in your day to day.
A delegate manual will be provided for you to complete through out the course for you to reference after the training as well as 3 months online support for any follow up questions.

Course delivery details
Our 5-star rated Communication Skills training courses are practical courses with small class sizes, and a maximum of 6 delegates, allowing plenty of time to interact with the trainer and ask questions!
These are held as in-person classroom courses or as live, online courses (over Zoom). All courses run from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, with plenty of breaks.
