Understanding Mental Health | Level 3 | Certificate (Free Online)
This FREE qualification is designed to increase your knowledge and understanding of mental health and mental well-being. Successful completion of the required units will allow you to develop in-depth knowledge and understanding of mental health. It will also support progression into relevant employment within the health and social care sector.

Suitability - Who should attend?
To qualify for a FREE Level 1, 2 or 3 online learning course, you must:
- You must be aged 19 years or over as at 1/9/21
- You must have lived in the UK for the last three years, or be able to prove your residency status, for example, indefinite leave to remain, settled status or you are an Asylum seeker who has been in the UK for more than 6 months.

This FREE course is split into five manageable units, covering the following topics:
- Understanding the context of mental health and wellbeing
- Promotion of mental health and wellbeing
- Mental health problems: associated issues and consequences
- Understanding mental ill health
- Working in mental health.
Continuing Studies
- Level 3 Award in Awareness of the Mental Capacity Act 2005
- Level 3 Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care
- Level 3 Certificate in Working in the Health Sector.
