Course description
Six Sigma is a method that provides organizations tools to improve the capability of their business processes. This increase in performance and decrease in process variation helps lead to defect reduction and improvement in profits, employee morale, and quality of products or services.
This course is designed to provide a broad understanding of the Six Sigma improvement methodology, concepts, and language. The Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control methodology is presented with case studies and examples drawn from service, business process, and manufacturing applications.
The course provides an overview of Six Sigma concepts and language and an introduction to the Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control process improvement cycle. The Six Sigma Overview course is comprised of one session with interactive practice modules and an quiz.
