Course description
Introduction to Neurodiversity at Work - (2 Hours)
Embrace and Encourage Differences at Work
Very simply, neurodiversity refers to the different ways in which a person's brain processes information.
The idea is that there's no “definitive” way for the brain to work. Instead, there is a wide range of ways that people perceive and respond to the world, therefore it only makes sense these differences are to be embraced and encouraged.
By the end of the session, learners will be able to
- Define what neurodiversity is.
- Explain the strengths & challenges of neurodiverse people.
- How to make accommodations for neurodiverse employees.
