Within this course you will learn all about the laws and legislation surrounding safeguarding and the high level work that is needed to keep children safe.
You will also learn about your own responsibilities should you recognise signs of abuse and about the extremely important topic of how to safeguard children and young people in the digital age on social media and off.
Who is the course aimed at?
This course is suitable for anyone who is interested in developing their knowledge and understanding of safeguarding; this could be within any health or care setting, or just to gain more knowledge of an extremely important topic.
Understanding safeguarding is mandated information when working with children and young people. This course can be taken alongside other training or completed as a refresher course annually.
Access Duration
You will have 12 months access to your online study platform from the date you purchased the course. You can complete the course in stages, revisiting the training at any time. It is self-paced so you can decide how quickly to progress through it.
Method of Assessment
At the end of the course learners will take an online multiple choice question assessment test. This online multiple choice question test is marked automatically so you will receive an instant grade and know whether you have passed the course. The pass mark is 70%.
Certification
Successful candidates will be awarded a digital PDF certificate of completion.
