Art and Design (Art Practice) HNC Level 4 (Part-Time)
You will be taught by an experienced and well qualified teaching team whose expertise and knowledge are closely matched to the content of units on the course. The team includes academics and professional practitioners with industry experience.
There are range of teaching and learning methods, including one-to-one tutorials, studio and workshop-based practice, seminars and lectures. Open and flexible learning approaches will encourage you to make decisions about your learning.
You will use a range of learning materials, both paper and technology based, facilitated by access to a Learning Resource Centre and the VLE. You will spend significant time undertaking independent study. Throughout the course, considerable emphasis is placed on self-evaluation and self-reflection.

Suitability - Who should attend?
Entry requirements:
- BTEC Level 3 qualification in a related subject – which is no lower than MPP – which demonstrates strong relevance in a subject related to the programme of study and equates to no fewer than 64 UCAS points. OR
- Access to Higher Education Certificate awarded by an approved further education institution. OR
- Related work experience and a genuine commitment (for mature applicants without formal qualifications) as well as completing a screening test to ascertain academic level. All applicants will be subject to a formal interview.
