Types of Courses Offered
INTO Queen's University Belfast offers a range of courses that are proven to help international students progress to undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in the UK, including:
International Foundation
The International Foundation prepares you for direct entry to Year 1 of an undergraduate degree. During the programme you'll develop relevant subject-specific knowledge and skills, and will improve your English language abilities.
International Year One
The International Year One is the equivalent to the first year of study for an undergraduate degree. During the programme you'll improve your academic and undergraduate research skills, as well as building your English language abilities. When you finish the programme you'll be ready to progress to Year 2 of your degree. This means that you can complete your degree in the same amount of time as direct entry students.
Undergraduate Degree with International Year One
Combine your preparation studies with an undergraduate degree in a single study plan. During your first year of study you will develop subject-relevant knowledge and skills at the same time as improving your English language abilities. After successful completion of the first year of study you will continue directly to Year 2 of your degree. This means that you can complete your degree in the same amount of time as direct entry students.
Graduate Diploma
A Graduate Diploma will prepare you for direct entry to a postgraduate degree. During the programme you will develop academic and postgraduate research skills while improving your English language abilities.
