The Role of the Company Secretary
This course will provide you with a useful overview of the company secretary's duties and responsibilities, as well as the vital knowledge necessary to perform this role effectively.
This programme will enable to address the ways in which their role has changed as a consequence of the 2006 Companies Act. You will gain an in-depth understanding of the complexities of the company secretary position, as well as a crucial insight into the related legal responsibilities.
By the end of the course, participants will know where the company secretary stands in relation to the rest of the board and be able to effectively deal with issues surrounding the appointment/removal of directors, changes to auditors, extraordinary contracts and disclosure of interests.
