Course description
The skills of speaking, reading, writing and listening will be practised but the emphasis is on speaking. A grammatical basis is promoted through active examples and practice, enabling students to build on their own knowledge independently.
By the end of the course students will be able to: a) understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to daily activities, shopping, leisure, transportation; b) communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine situations; c) describe aspects of his/her environment and matters in areas of immediate need; d) use the past tense to describe experiences.
