Brazilian Portuguese Improvers

Brazilian Portuguese Improvers: This is a communicative, intensive course for applicants who already have basic knowledge of the language (A1 Common European Framework). The course offers plenty of opportunity to speak and put into practice the structures already learned.

The skills of speaking, reading, writing and listening will be practised but the emphasis is on speaking. A grammatical basis is promoted through active examples and practice, enabling students to build on their own knowledge independently.

By the end of the course students will be able to: a) understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to daily activities, shopping, leisure, transportation; b) communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine situations; c) describe aspects of his/her environment and matters in areas of immediate need; d) use the past tense to describe experiences.
