Level 3 Award in Electrical Equipment Maintenance & Testing (PAT) - City & Guilds (2377)

This course is designed for electrically competent persons who plan or conduct a systematic and regular program of maintenance, inspection & testing of electrical equipment in the workplace.

It offers a greater understanding of, and compliance with, the legislation and regulations controlling those who are involved with the testing and reporting of electrical equipment used within a place of work. The course promotes better documentation, communication and enforcement of safe working procedures.

Course Aims

Who should attend?

Those who require an understanding of why electrical equipment testing is necessary, and that need to be able to demonstrate safely and accurately all aspects of electrical inspection, tests and run procedures.

The course is also suitable for those with sufficient electrical knowledge and/or experience whom wish to further develop their own skillset.

This course is not suitable for those under the age of 18.

Certification

Delegates successfully completing the City & Guilds 2377 theoretical examination will be issued with a certification by City & Guilds.
