IRATA Level 2 - Rope Access Technician
To provide participants with a greater understanding of the roles and responsibilities of work at height using rope access.
The Level 2 course covers a variety of technical rigging methods and rescue skills; there is a greater emphasis on knowledge although the course remains mostly practical.
Course Aims
Who Should Attend
Experienced Rope Access Technicians currently holding an IRATA Level 1 certificate and a minimum of 100 logged hours experience.
Entry Requirements
All participants must be able to certify that they are physically fit and have no medical conditions that might prevent them working at height.
participants must be 18 years or over.
Certification
participants successfully completing an IRATA Level 2 Rope Access Technician course will receive an IRATA certificate valid for 3 years.
